COMPANY HISTORY

Stewart & Helen Kennedy a husband and wife team established their joinery business in 1978. Stewart opened the doors for business after seven years working in a local architects practise. Prior to that he was a time served joiner having trained in a traditional joinery business which worked mainly on local estates. He has many years experience in workshop work, site work and supervision of large projects connected with his work in the architects practise. As an architectural technician he gravitated more to his interest in design, as a result he decided to combine all his skills in one shop. In 2005 the company changed its status from private to limited.

Supported by his wife Helen who works alongside Stewart in the showroom and office and their own team of trades men (at time of writing) all trained by Stewart the longest employed men having worked continually in the company for 30 years and 21 years respectfully, they reckon they have a strong team of experienced and skilled people.
